Balsa Club was founded in the late 70's by guitarist and lead singer Jack McKinnon and percussionist Harold Brohifney. The two musicians created a genere-bending sound that intranced millions around the globe. For over 25 years Jack and Harold rocked together, building a huge fan base (especially overseas in Europe, where they were played regularly by small local radio stations). The bands' dreams of ever releasing a full lenghth studio album were toppled when early in 2001 Jack met his fate. He was killed in a freak accident involving several utensils. With an accumulation of over 250 songs surmassed in Balsa Clubs' 25 years together, we honor Jack by releasing these recordings to the general public. One at a time.
