Uncertain Light Uncertain Light

One of the first complete songs, a soft, short instrumental that barely scratches the surface of Protector.

Rock

Protector is a one-man band from Chicago, Illinois. Though mainly a prog metal outfit, he reaches into the realms of death, black, and doom metal. Often known to create odd, atmospheric, and exotic sounding riffs by friends. The one behind Protector has diverse tastes, ranging from traditional Asian music, African percussion, European and American metal, ambient electronic, and even the droning hum of the computer and fridge. Highly experimental. Follows the belief that it's not what you play, it's what you do not play.
Band/artist history
Constantly frustrated by his friends not sharing the same or similar vision and passion for mixing progressive, death, and black metal, Feorel decided to take matters into his own hands. He started composing madly during one summer and will be recording with his brother, who is a recording engineer. A demo is planned by the end of August, but delays may move it to the end of September.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Protector does not play live because it is a one-man band. I cannot find people willing to play prog metal. I do play live in jazz bands, however.
