I'm into blues, funk, rock, afro-cuban stuff, anything that grooves. The blues really resonates with me, so that's what I mostly feel compelled to play.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, I go to jams at a couple different bars, usually once a week - I usually sing a few numbers as well. I also jam with friends as often as time will allow.
Everyone should really try to play for people (in front of an audience) for 3 really good reasons: 1) music is supposed to be shared and experienced through performance 2) Your musicianship will improve exponentially and 3) It's a whole lot of fun!
Your musical influences
I picked up a guitar because of Hendrix. Then I went backwards through his influences and have tried to build upon the foundation of american roots music.What equipment do you use?

I remember you when you were opening for the Village People. In fact, I remember you claiming that Madonna stole the whole bullet bra and garter shtick, as well as the entourage of sexually ambiguous young Latin men, straight from you. Glad to see you found a new musical direction.
