I am a freelance sax player living in Georgia. I moved here from Tucson AZ in October of 2005.Band/artist history
I started playing sax about seven years ago, and as my playing progressed I moved through several styles. I started with blues and rock, and moved to smooth jazz, then jazz. Now I like aspects of all of them, and I try to play them all with equal enthusiasm.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live in the middle Georgia area.
Your musical influences
It's tough to talk influences when I learned to play the way I did. Most of my learning was done on my own, so I developed a sound before I did a lot of heavy listening. But if pressed I'd have to say my influences are Adderly, Marsalis, Sanborn, Maceo Parker, and Clarence Clemons for the respective genres they represent.Anything else?
