It isn't really a band I guess, it's only me. My name is Matt Kasumovic, and I've only just begun trying to get some sort of exposure with my music. I have been playing and writing for a while now, but I thought I would try something new. Anyway, I really enjoy playing acoustic/folk/rock.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live. Nothing huge, only the open mic type thing, but I plan on playing wherever I can once I build up the catalogue. I think it's great. It's the only way to connect to the fans on a level different from the recorded stuff.
Your musical influences
A huge huge influence on my music is Elliott Smith, so that may give you an idea. Other influences include Radiohead, Tom Waits, Nick Drake, and Aaron Zorgel. I listen to a putload of music so I am sure some of that gets in there as well. These bands include Refused, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Hayden, Metallica, A Silver Mt. Zion, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Al Green, Felix Da Housecat, Feist, Broken Social Scene, Bjork, Blondie, Danielson, Ben Kweller, Band of Horses, At the Drive-In...What equipment do you use?
