The Black Table The Black Table

Nihilism are a progressive metal / rock band with some simpler, more standard tunes thrown in for good measure. We write and play what we like without the confines of specific genres, but we still write mostly heavy music.
Band/artist history
In 2004 a group of friends, Dale, Jimbo and Beaz decided to form a band, at the time the idea was a rock band but that gradually changed to be more heavy and progresssive. Jamming commenced but without a drummer the band had no real direction, Beaz found the band there first drummer, Dan, who was soon asked to leave due to his playing being sub par. The band soon replaced Dan with Haydn who was not much better and finally the band has settled with, Dan (not the same Dan), who fits the band and is a good player.
The band are now working on songs for an EP and then an album which would be finished late 2006 (hopefully).
