Born in Lagos, Nigeria of An American Mother and Nigerian Father, KING-KAN aka "Akan", has been destined for prominence, treading through a flux of trials and tribulations and integration with a flawed crowd; the self proclaimed hip-hop nomad, has been searching all his life for the fabled light, in his dark smitten universe. After befriending LegatoPryce, reAce and ultimately DJ Doc Rok; it all started to become clearer. He became fully submissive to the music industry's calling in his early 20's and thus has embarked on a self-motivated rise to significance within the confines of his peers through a refined style of personality and pride, coupled with a unique and intricate array of syntax and styling for his lyrical expression. Along with THE ASSOCIATES, KING-KAN is configuring to bring a whole new dimension to Hip-Hop, and lay to rest the cries of inadequate diversity and originality in modern day Rap. Consequently, It's the start of a new era and growth for Hip-Hop.
