Born May 22, 1984, Clyde A Taylor III was destined to be a superstar. At the age of 5, he played Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. His talent was acknowledged in a writing competition in the third grade, which gave him a 1st place standing. Even at such a young age, he was deep into music. His favorite artist to imitate was James Brown. From his unique dance moves to his vibrant personality, Clyde could imitate James at his best. Little did he know, that this would guide him into pursuing a music career of his own. His first time recording was at a professional home studio owned by the father of a close friend, with the group Kingz-n-Killaz. Being young and inexperienced, the group wasn't given a second opportunity to record. Although this was a slight disappointment, it didn't stop Clyde. He was a man on a mission, motivated to get to the next level and committed to following his dreams. Even though the second opportunity didn't work out as planned, Clyde kept on going anyway. In 2001, the same producer that kicked him out of the studio multiple times finally gave him another shot to become an artist on his independent label. Unable to bring his whole squad into the label it caused slight animosity between him and the rest of the Kingz-n-Killaz family. Clyde then known as Killa Kash was the main artist of the independent label 1 2 da dome along with the R&B group Solid. This led to performances at numerous venues such as Medgar Evers College, for a comedy talent show sponsored by BET, a talent show at Brooklyn's "The Lab", and a show at Manhattan's Supper Club. With the release of "2 Sidez 2 Da Game", Clyde finally learned what it was like to have to "push" his own album. Within the first two weeks, Clyde along with new rap partner G-Figz, sold 60 copies of the album. Problems always seem to find greatness, which caused the duo to run into personal problems. This drove them to get "real jobs" to accumulate revenue. From there, 1 2 da dome fell and the rap dream was destroyed. As always Clyde never stopped writing and after dealing with his personal problems, he presents to you the Age of Kapitol and the Ghetto Laboratories label.
Band/artist history
I have history from past labels but I choose not to make reference to it. I'll be making history though so keep up.
Your musical influences
Reality plays the biggest part in my influences. The whole hip-hop industry is a influence in itself
