Band/artist history
The band “Soulless Heart” was found 2002. Guitarist and shouter Dmitriy Banchevskiy and drummer Florian Rienkens are from the very first cast and still active band members. The former guitarist Stefan Strathmeier left the band and was substituted by Wladimir Bernhardt. Because of the admittance of the bassist Erik Hess the band was complete. Till April 2003 new songs were written and rehearsed. After internal discussion it was decided to record an EP in a local studio. As a result of this work the EP “Prisoner of the night” appeared: 1. Intro 2. Death of the Antichrist 3. Terror 4. Prisoner of the Night 5. Mights of Evil 6. Storm of Hate The song “Mights of Evil” was published on the website www.mp3.com and reached in several different ratings the first place. In spite of the low-budget production and young band formation the EP got good reviews in metal magazines with corresponding marks. A label from aboard published simultaneously the song “Mights of Evil” on its sampler. August 2003 there is one another record from the band: a maxi CD “Maybe You Die”. It consists of 3 songs and 1 video clip on the song “Prisoner of the Night”, which should have already reached the rarity value. The title song “Soulless Heart” was published on the “Joining Forces”-sampler. November and December 2003 the band was on a Germany-Tour “Return to the Sabbath” with the thrash legend Martin Walkyier (“Sabbath” / “Skyclad”). As a special guest Stian Iscariah (ex-„Immortal“) was on the road, too. In the beginning of 2004 the band had to change the rehearsal room and in the end of the year Erik Hess left “Soulless Heart”. For some time the work was continued without a bassist, for the next gigs the band had to ask for the assistance of a temporary bassist. March 2005 the line-up was extended by another shouter Magnus Martin and the temporary bassist Anton Bill was substituted by Vlad Rumyantsev. The new line-up is complete and “Soulless Heart” is now able to work hard and promising again: Dmitry Banchevskiy ( g / v ) Magnus Martin ( v ) Wladimir Bernhardt ( g ) Vlad Rumyantsev ( b ) Florian Rienkens ( d ) P.S. Then new LP "Crystal Death" ist available out now. More information at www.soullessheart.de
