One of my hobbies is writing music. Many, many years ago- I used to play and listen to Country and Bluegrass. I haven't written in quite some time, and it seems everything I write and sing is coming out Country, despite a couple of decades of listening to Rock, Blues, Alternative and even Smooth Jazz -and NO Country since about 1982. One friend of mine says "Go with your roots" and another says "You're screwed, dude!"
I've the awful feeling both of my friends are right. Oh well. Such is life, right? Anyway, I hope to post my newest music here, for the convenience of my friends and family, and any new friends that are interested.
As always, your comments and thoughts are always welcome. Oh, and yes... I am keeping my day job!

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Ummm. Well, I haven't died yet, so I guess YES. I don't perform in public though, if that's what you mean. I'm a closet musician. I record when no one else is at home. Yup. I'm kinda shy.
Your musical influences
Probably Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and the rest of the original Outlaws, a bit of Don Williams, early Alabama before they got rich -and I have always loved The Eagles.
