Band/artist history
BWP joined forces in late 1998. At that time it was considered a side project but the quality and feel of the song writing soon changed BWP into a full blown reality, after just 6 months Blank White Page decided to head to the studio. The sessions took place with the help of Jacob Recording artist and producer Shane (Sugah J) Phillips. That summer the band worked on their unique brand of rock and in late 1999 released their independent CD "Opening Statement". Strong local sales and a publishing deal followed. CEO John Boutkam describes the songs as "better than most fully produced efforts The song "Would You Have Done the Same" is an extension of the earlier acoustic work and demonstrates BWP's ability to rock
