Made famous by Peter, Paul & Mary, this beautiful song with two-part vocal harmony tells the story of how children in medieval times went 'trick or treating.'

Traditional Celtic

Traditional and contemporary "celtic music with a southern accent", and some cool original tunes as well. Keltic Kudzu features intricate vocal harmonies, fresh new arrangements of traditional songs and tunes with some fun surprises thrown in, and an overall shiny, happy experience.
Band/artist history
Keltic Kudzu was formed at the turn of the 21st century by Maggie Anderson. Since then, the band has grown both in size and talent by leaps and bounds. KK enjoys surprising audiences with interesting and often nontraditional arrangements of traditional songs and tunes, incorporating many "world" musical influences into the music, and especially blending traditional celtic sounds with the sounds of the southern U.S. The musicians in KK come from a variety of musical backgrounds including classical, pop, rock, bluegrass, Indian, and punk, bringing a fresh new sound to celtic music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Sure. Mostly around the southeast at pubs, festivals, private events, etc. Check out our calendar at our web site. Our favorite trip was 5 days in Toronto where we played a celtic music festival and P.J. O'Brien's pub downtown.
Your musical influences
Chietains, Great Big Sea, Emmy Lou Harris, Cherish the Ladies, Capercaille, Cathy Ryan, Cape Breton piano music.
What equipment do you use?
Fender PA, Roland keys, multiple guitars, bagpipes, octave mando, too much to name!
