Hey all you crazy metal maniacs!
We are Northern Winter, the northeast's ONLY professional power metal band. On these pages we will update all of our major information and bring you the latest songs and news from the Northern Winter camp.
***IMPORTANT - MUSICIANS WANTED***
NORTHERN WINTER IS SEARCHING FOR A 2nd GUITARIST, A SINGER AND A BASSIST.
AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY THE 4th OF JUNE AT POLESTAR RECORDING STUDIOS BETWEEN 6pm AND 8pm
GUITARISTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PLAY OZZY OSBOURNE'S "CRAZY TRAIN" TO A CLICK TRACK, COMPOSE AND PLAY A TWO MINUTE PIECE IN A POWER METAL STYLE TO SHOW OFF YOUR TRICKS AND PLAYING FINESSE AND ALSO TO IMPROVISE A SOLO TO A SONG WE WILL PLAY YOU ON THE DAY.
BASSISTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PLAY IRON MAIDEN'S "THE CLANSMAN" TO A CLICK TRACK, JAM ALONG TO THE DRUMS FOR TWO MINUTES IN A KEY WE WILL GIVE AND SHOW OFF YOUR TRICKS AND STAGE PRESENCE AND ALSO TO IMPROVISE A CREATIVE BASSLINE TO A SONG WE WILL PLAY YOU ON THE DAY.
SINGERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SING "BREAKING THE LAW" BY JUDAS PRIEST AND IMPROVISE A VOCAL MELODY FOR LYRICS WE WILL GIVE YOU FOR OUR SONG "RETURN TO ME"
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU CANNOT ATTEND BUT STILL WISH TO AUDITION, EMAIL US USING THE EMAIL LINK AT THE BOTTOM AND SEND US A RECORDING OF YOURSELF SO WE CAN HEAR WHAT YOUR STYLE IS LIKE... IF YOU DO THIS, REMEMBER TO LEAVE YOUR NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS IN THE EMAIL AS WELL.
