Thank You to all who have participated in these Award Shows voting opprotunities. I think the voting runs till the end of the month (October 2007) and I just wanted to respectfully thank everyone I could reach...
The honor is not only in the initial nominations, but also in each and every responce I have recieved from the many different variety. Letters, E-mails, Phone Calls and in person. That is what we call "Grass Roots" for sure.
Also: I will change the selection of music on the My Space profile in a couple of days or so. So now is the time to download any existing track. I have a 24 CD catalog to chose from, and this is the fun part part of my sharing experience regarding Shane O'Brien and O'Brien's Edge.

Shane OBrien and OBriens Edge earns two All Access Music Awards 2007 Show Nominations. Categories 12 / Best Blues Guitarist and Category 14 / Best Blues Group Artist.

Most notably his funky dance number titled _Love That Woman. My personal favorite_Family and Friends, is a slow guitar/vocal acoustic blues, that comes, from where it's supposed to. Deep in Shane's heart. Note: Shane has AAMA show nominations during 2005 and 2006.

The gig at Harolds Place in San Pedro,CA. was a smash hit. Thank you to all who came out. The caravan of taxis who transported the Chicago Ironworkers, Local 1 and Local 136 Members as well as the Local 433 members that rode in, really boosted the mood in the room. When we played THE BIG IRON, we where all as one.

We have a great "Iron In The Fire".
BBKing's_NYC is reviewing our press kit and Johnny Wionter has endorsed and opening act position for our little band to perform in NYC Feb 9th 2007. It's all in the negotiation phase at this time. I'll let eveyone know if it really comes through as time permits.
