Music Career 1997-2007
Band/artist history
As a teenager Princess met DJ Dagwood of Rude Sound Productions, he took her under his wing and showed her some of the ropes of the behind scenes of the music industry. Princess recorded her first song at 14 years old at Hard Hittin Records (now defunct) and recorded her first demo with production team "Pretty & Phatt" who consist of Kevin "Pretty" Lewis, and Christoper "Phatt" Dorsey. Princess recorded "Shine some light" which was produced by: John "J-Dubb" Williams for Black World Entertainment (Shine some light has since then been re-recorded twice) In 2005 Princess met production team Kelel & L.A. Salle while networking on MySpace, recorded at Warehouse Studios in Aurora, Il recording "the Girl is Real" & several of her earlier mixtape songs and features. Princess competed alongside State St in The Independent Midwest Hip Hop Talent Awards and Showcase hosted by: Ty Jones for Chi-Town Records and Entertainment where she met Raheim " Godson " Mooney of Real People Inc. Princess' single "Do U think of me?" was broadcasted 4/20/06 on CTA college radio 88.5 Hyde Park. Also getting spins on fearlessradio.com BDB Radio. Princess opened for Atlantic recording artist Bump J @ The Premiere Loung in West Chicago, and performed @ several events by 21 Souls Entertainment & PhazeOne Entertainment. Princess recorded, performed and hosted several events with Godson, and Chris "CB Mix" Barnett of (then) Real People Inc. Also featuring on several songs with local area rappers. Princess went on to work with Powell Records, as Director of Marketing and Promotion, working in artist development, and self taught herself to record, recording their artists and herself. Performing and recording while promoting the label and fellow artists. Princess unexpectedly quit music in 2007 and hasn't been in the music scene since.

Yep, Clearwater Theatre in Dundee, Kosmo's Klub in Romeoville, Cherry Red Nite Club in Chicago, Sahara Cafe' in Lombard, The Premiere Lounge in West Chicago, and I LOVE it!
