No long, melodramatic, half-fictionalized story here. My apologies to those of you who like that sort of thing. Our band formed in 1989 with the intent to create, play and perform the type of music that we all liked to listen to. To blend our various influences to come up with our own original sound. Despite line-up changes over the years, this was all achieved and maintained, until we called it quits for personal reasons in 1994.Your musical influences
Garten Kirkhof was initially heavily influenced by Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees and early Christian Death. When we began, we were strictly a Goth band, but as the years passed and guitarists were changed, other influences such as Killing Joke, Bunnydrums, Red Temple Spirits and The Chameleons, to name a few, were tapped into. So we had gradually shifted from Goth into dark Post Punk. What equipment do you use?

I uploaded it, but it's such a long song that it slightly exceeds the allowed MB's for 1 track. Due to this the song cuts off about 20 seconds before tha actual end. I will let it remain anyway for about a week, then I shall remove it. What do you think?
any chance you'll upload the 3rd song from the From 1989 Demo ? the 7:36 song? i miss that one ;)
Brushed the dust off of some old tapes, transferred them to CD and then MP3s and this is the result. I hope you who play these songs enjoy them.
