Comedy Rap about the Math Pals gang, which is a joke. What is it? 'We praise numbers and we burn words!' Nuff said. (APRIL 2006)

Holla!. This is Tripp-Ill C's music page. For those who ain't heard, this is Caleb Cordes' rap alias, and I'm Caleb Cordes. I make beats at my homey Dylan's house and put them to some dope rhymes. Check these things out. Some of this is comedy rap, some of it serious. But check it out. By the way, my CD is going to be released AT THE END OF JULY, so be on the lookout for the exact date and also more songs being posted. /// NEWS /// JUNE 20 /// Yo! We have a ton of new tracks done and will post some as we are able. I am also working on some collabs so check them out when I provide a link. We're getting nearer to the CD release... Band/artist history
I've been writing lyrics all my life (mostly rock) but I started writing raps and this project started. My homey Dylan Ray, who works with me on several other projects, has a Macintosh that we use to record. This project started in April 2006, and it goes on forever. Even though I use Dylan's computer, this project is mainly solo, except for when I feature others.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do shows occasionally, and after the CD's released I might have some more.
Your musical influences
I'm mainly into rock, especially alternative, but my rap influences are: KJ-52, GRITS, DJ Maj., John Reuben, Jurassic 5, Mars ILL, LPG, Lupe Fiasco, Styles Of Beyond, Fort Minor and many more.
What equipment do you use?
I mainly use Garage Band for mixing and making beats, and then I have my vocal cords.
Anything else?
I apologize for some of the vocals being low quality--the mic we recorded with had some sort of a defect. Expect vox without the fuzz on newer tracks.
