The original idea of a metal band started long beforehand, with Rob getting a craving for some intense drumming, and Chris and Si wanting to play together, Si opting for rhythm more than lead, and Chris vice versa. All that was needed was a bassist - as Si is an able frontman as well as guitarist, and Chris and Rob were more than happy to be backing vocals. The sought after bassist was found - Ali Martin. Not used to playing metal beforehand he came into it with some different ideas adding to an already unique style. Quickly getting the hang of blistering speed and technichal riffing MORTERION gelled into an awesome playing machine. To really get an idea of what we are like - come to a gig!Have you performed in front of an audience?As a band we havnt had any gigs yet, Si used to be in Crucifixion (UK), Rob is currently still with sonic funk and chris and ali arent in a metal band but have had gigging experience
