The sound of the backbeat wafting through the neighborhood has created a chemistry that can't be denied; the Curbfeelers have arrived! The first time I heard the Curbfeelers was at a pig roast many years ago in some unreachable location in the Maryland hills, and at the time I was a little unsure if the world was ready for their sound. But the years of practice, the refinement of their musicianship and their mutual love of the blues has made them record-ready. Their recent performances at blues festivals have created a sound and energy that I think has been captured in this recording. The Curbfeelers, American Blues and Soul at its finest!
