We're a Melodic Death Metal Band from Switzerland. We all come from Spiez near the Jungfrau Region (Top of Europe). We really like to perfom live and writting new stuff. In the future we will produce a new record. Probably in Winter 06/07.Band/artist history
Biography Pain of Gomorrha
This project began in summer 2003 when four young musicians from Spiez, named Marco Sulzener, Peter Weber, Gregor Bürki and Adrian Schaefer met each other in Hondrich for a jam. Because we were young and inexperienced, we didn’t had progress. We had the biggest progress before of our first concert in autumn 2004 at the local “Läset Rock”. Unfortunately our bass player Gregor Bürki had to leave the band because he couldn't do both the job and the band. But then we found a new bass player, an old friend of the band Adrian Wasser. He strengthen the band with energy and enthusiasm. Then we played half a year with this line-up. Then we found something’s missing. The right person for this missing place was Deny Kuster (ex Nasty Vermin bass player) because he wanted to play something new . He brought us the keyboard in our band and it fitted in like the fist on the eye. Since then he became a fully member of the band. We played a lot of gigs in the Berner Oberlandone well kknwon is the international Freezing Metal Nights and we played together with Belphegor from Austria at the Bleeding Forest Open-air. In autumn 2005 we produced our new Demo CD at Nekrorecords in Hondrich. The average age of the band is 19 years. Our style is difficult to subscribe but we would call it melodic death/black metal.Have you performed in front of an audience?We really like to play live and we're not demanding. The only thing we need is some money for gas. Then we're happy.
Your musical influences
We have influences from every part of music. Every musician in our band listens to different music styles. One hears Black Metal and the other listens to Death Metal. It makes no sense because it's just metal. It's a feeling that you have in your spirit.What equipment do you use?
We use from Drums: Pearl, Zildjian and Paiste. For Guitars: Jackson, Ibanez, Crate, Hughes and Kettner. For Bass: Specter, Behringer. For Synths: RolandAnything else?
