A Death In California (known effectionately as ADICA) became the bastard child of The Invectives and The Untaken somewhere in February-March of the year Two Thousand and Three. Since then they (and by they I mean we) have been working their asses off trying to provide the type of music that they feel is falling from the punk scene. This type of music is fast, hard, and energetic. Their live shows are a sight to be seen, and are as great of an element as their recorded music. So even if you think the cd is great, you haven't experienced the half of it.
BRACE YOURSELF FROM OUR EXTREMESBand/artist history
Well, The Invectives, one day, decided to kick out their old drummer (whom we are still in contact with and love dearly, Kevin, you shared with us many great moments that we will never forget) and recruited the drummer of another local band called The Untaken. So this new line-up gigged heavily and recorded an E.P. entitled "God Less America" while The Untaken recorded a mini-full length entitled "Left for Last." Both bands were close and played some good shows together. After a while, creative differences (that's what we'll call them) prevented The Invectives from remaining together.. and soon the lead singer departed and the now ex-lead singer of The Untaken (wasting his talent by not being in a band, and yes I do mean TALENT) was recruited to form a new band. Since the former Invectives had been playing for a while they had a few songs up their sleeves and the missing piece of the puzzle was finally inserted when The ex-Untaken singer came to practice for the first time.
AND THE REST IS HISTORY you fiends.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, anywhere we're booked, yes, all the time.
