WITHOUT FURTHER ADO!!! Younique is about to blast on the scene for the arrival of the century! After almost 5 years in the making, the dynamic duo emererges with their debut offering apptly titled "2 Can Play That Game". The group initially assembled as a trio. The release of the group's debut single, "Haters (Part 1)" was marked by the extremely controversial member changes that followed, just before the supposed release of their first debut attempt. Remaining members Karyn James (16) and Kevin Jenkins (19) re-grouped and headed back into the studio in the fall of 2002. Although both producers Tavares Weston and Zakiya Whatley contributed production to "2 Can Play That Game", most of the album was written and produced by Younique themselves. Stand-out tracks include "Jerry Springer", "Promise" (a collaboration with rapper Double C'$), and the album's first single, "Without Further Ado". The duo showcases their versatility, flowing from smooth tracks like the ballad "All You Have To Do Is Ask", to the bouncy "Hit Me If You Want To", which the duo describes as being a response to Ludacris' "Move". With their street credibility, and the brother-sister chemistry that Kevin and Karyn have, Younique remains poised to make their mark on the music scene, and has the experience to back it up!
The album "2 Can Play That Game" was originally scheduled for an early July release. The current status of the release of the album and it's first single remain TBA.

Younique was started back in 1999. The original 3 members, Anjel Jenkins (11), Kauri Jenkins (16), and Kevin Jenkins (19), began recording at an early age. Karyn (16) was introduced to the group in December of 2000, and filled the void left by Anjel's departure shortly after. The trio began work on their debut in fall of 2001, but in March of 2002, Kauri also left.Your musical influences
