"Revenge of the Killer Bouzouki" (celtic-traditional-duo 1989/90) has been:
Jutta Roos (Germany) (bouzouki, guitar, keys)
Julie Horne (Scotland) (cello, whistles, guitar)
Special guests: Heribert Schneider or respectively Johnny Wuest: bodhran on some tunes.
This live-recording has been reworked by Jutta Roos with bass, guitar or keys on a few tunes.
We both played irish and scottish trad. music but also our own compositions in a very own and unusual style in the late 80s. At times we were supportet by Heribert Schneider or Johnny Wuest on Bodhran.
we got together on the occasion of the foundation of "Bonner Folktreff" at "Anno Tubac" club in Bonn, whhere we also had our first gigs
We played together until about 1990, than Julie went back to Scotland and I (Jutta) myself have been busy with family affairs...
In the meantime I was working for myself (bouzouki, guitars, keys, low whistle) and now also with other musicians in formations as:
The Humours of Boyle
Celtic Bouzouki Ensemble (Jutta Roos & Rainer Struck)
Celtic Borders (Jutta Roos, founder Brian Horton and others)
Jutta Roos & Klanggebrueder
Jutta Roos & Carsten Lehmann
Jutta Roos & Julien Boulier
