I'm a musician by trade, I play keyboards/piano, but I also write music, make beats, and write verses - vocal, rap, and spoken word.
Band/artist history
I grew up in Decatur, GA. I took classical piano lessons as a child and eventually started learning to play songs that I heard either on the radio or on tapes and CD's lying around the house. I started making my own music in middle school and I started discovering stuff like Rhapsody, RecordLab Studio, Fruity Loops, Garage Band, Reason, Finale and recently Sibelius. Fruity Loops, or FL Studio has been my program of choice to this day, though I did make a few beats that I liked on Reason while I was in Memphis, and I do use Sibelius to write a lot of arrangements. Out of High school I went to University of Memphis for 2 years, studying Jazz, and now I'm at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, TX.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've been playin wit my band called SoulKitchan in the Austin area for over a year now, (that's where I'm going to school). I've also so played at some venues in Memphis, like on Beale Street a few times, and in Atlanta but I have yet to be steadily booked at any one place.
