The Deadly Percherons are an electronica outfit based in the UK and signed to WTFD Records - the virtual indie label. Our music is the product of several years worth of composing, listening and playing - our debut album 'The Devil Is Dead', has just been released on WTFD Records.
A mix of light and dark electronica with dance-friendy beats, spanish guitar, flutes, steel-string guitar, piano, accoustic bass, synth, exotic percussion and plenty of energy.Band/artist history
Charles Williams and co have been writing and recording for a number of years under different guises and are delighted to be able to finally share their music with anybody who would like to listen. To be able to give somebody else a little pleasure with something you have created is just as important as having a conduit for the desire to make music.
WTFD are a great label who are honest with their artists and have a genuine passion for music. The Deadly Percherons look forward to a mutually beneficial future.
Whether you purchase our albums or simply download the free tracks, the Percherons hope you enjoy their work.Have you performed in front of an audience? The Deadly Percherons are hoping to play live in the near future.
Your musical influences
Jah Wobble is a personal and musical influence, but we love anyone original who doesn't take themselves too seriously - The Residents, Yello, KLF, also the writers R A Lafferty and John Franklin Bardin (see elsewhere)What equipment do you use?
For the Devil Is Dead album, most of the tracks we're constructed using Ejay and FruityLoops, then exported to our 16-track digital workstation for adding live bass and guitar and further production. We also used Rebirth synth and our beloved Zoom Sampletrack.Anything else?

Good stuff! You have a unique style. Not my usual thing, but I like what you're doing. Good luck with your album. I hope you do well.
In a bit, Dr Nimble.
