Within Rage became a whole in August of 2004 with the addition of Donovan Fall, vocals. He joined founding band members Steve DeHart (Right Handy), lead guitar, Gerald Eckard (Gihad the WOP), drums, and Coory "Grizzly" Joshlin, bass. Within one month of their joining the band, Within Rage played their 1st of many shows. They have played with many bands in Louisiana such as: Choke, DMC, From Ruin, Dead Tree, Sekrum, TSF, and countless other talented bands. Their sound is derived from bands like: Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Down, BLS, COC, and many other bands that have influenced them throughtout their lives. Their music can not be summed up into one genre because they are everything that is metal. "Except for the gay shit". Within Rage believes in the live show and the live show speaks for itself. Within Rage's mission is to leave everyone wanting more and leaving the show knowing that it was worth the door fee. To sum it all up Withn Rage 'brings it" to every show, no matter if it's for 2 people or 2000 people, by playing for the love of their music and the sight of a crazy fuckin crowd!Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live as much as our regular jobs allow. We have only played in state so far but would like to play other places in the U.S.

This is a jumble of everyone's influences, not just common band influences: Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Down, COC, BLS, Nothing face, Killswitch Engage, Wu-Tang Clan, STP, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dream Theater, Godsmack, CCR, John Fogerty, Candlebox, Slayer, Dave Mustaine, Iron Maiden, First Korn album when it came out, Sepultura, and more shall be added over time.What equipment do you use?
Donovan Fall: Shure mics, Peavy/Kustom PA, Yamaha 15" Drivers. Donovan has a wide vocal range and uses it well. Ever since Donovan came on board, he began to co-write the lyrics to the songs. He has a great writing ability.
Steve Dehart: ESP, Ibanez, Fender Guitars. Marshall JCM 900 Head. Marshall 4x12 Half Stack loaded with Celestian Vintage 30 12's. Steve is also known as 'Mr. Right Handy.' Steve is one of the most creative guitarists around. Constantly making new songs and having lots of great ideas. He is also the sole lyric writer for Within Rage's older material and co-writer alongside of Donovan for Within Rage's new material.
Coory: Fender Squier 5 string P Bass, Yamaha 4 string. Ampeg head and 4x10 cabinet. Coory has a special talent, his fingers are as big as a house. Thats how he does those amazing streches! Coory is a solid bass player and Within Rage would not be the same without the 'Grizz.'
Gihad the WOP: Mapex Pro M 6 Piece. Mostly Sabian AA Metal X cymbals. Aquarian Performance II heads on top, and Aquarian Classic Clears on the bottom. Tama double kick pedal and RoadPro throne. Vic Firth 2BN sticks.
All members of the band have progressed by leaps and bounds since they have gotten together and continue to work hard and be dedicated to Within Rage to make it the best it can be.
