Graveyard Shift Graveyard Shift

A spooky, atmospheric, tribal house track. I produced this because i never really strayed from trance, and didnt know if i could do it! Saying that, it took me 2 hrs to produce and was the simplest track ive ever made!

Project 11 Project 11

This trance track, my 11th production, was the first i made which i thought was ok. When decoding this track, the program i used was a trial so would only decode the first 5 mins hence a few seconds missing at the end. When ok i'll re-post.

Joshua Joshua

An upbeat trance track with feel good vibes. Whilst rendering this track for some reason ive got a 'blackboard squeek' sound goin on. Apologies. I named this after my friends son who was born just before i made it. Took me a total of 10 hrs to make.

The Gateway The Gateway

A trancy techno tune. Ive used a lot of string sections throught the tune. I played around with hi hats but felt they didnt go with the track so decided on just the kick and snare. I think this emphasises the bassline better which beefs up the track.

Im a dance music producer born and living in Middlesbrough. Although im not professional I have a passion for making dance and house mucic and I do hope, through the use of the internet, that I can get recognised for what i do and get a positive response.
Band/artist history
As an individual, I had always had a passion for dance music. Whilst at secondry school, at the age of 13, i was introduced to making music using computers and software such as early versions of Cubase. I decided to take this up whilst at school at GCSE level and i got addicted to it. Also, my music teacher at that time told me i had a big talent for someone of my age. I got an A* for my GCSE work but didnt study it straight after school. In fact it wasnt until i was around 19 when i got talkin to an old friend from school that i took another intrest in it. This time with Fruityloops. All the tracks i have made have been made using that program. But again i lost intrest. But now i have got the feeling i need to take u stronger look at music production and be a lot more serious about it.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
As i only produce dance music, there is no live element to it. I have done some DJing once or twice but thats about it.
Your musical influences
The usual dance music producers such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, etc.
What equipment do you use?
Computer programs such as Cubase, Fruityloops, and hardware such as MIDI keyboards. Relativly quite basic.
