The Concept...
Mind Calibur... When I say those two words, somthing mystical starts manifesting in the catacombs of my cranium. Right now, you are probably wondering, just what is, Mind Calibur? Well, Mind Calibur is anything you want it to be. In a sense anyway.
Mind Calibur is and will allways be a path to personal and spiritual enlightenment. Through intense paranoasia and sonata, the members of Mind Calibur deliver a more, intelectual brand of music.
Mind Calibur is not of this earth, but more so they are the overseers and spiritual guides of all the great and not so great civilizations of earth and the beyond. Through spiritual rebirth, the two entitys who have traveled through space and time, time and time again, have chosen to take human form on the planet Earth to re-tell the stories of some of their favorite hero's, wizard's, king's, presidents, alien's and villians throughout their existence. All of whom they have had an immence relationship with either through prayer or occult rituals.
The Music
The first batch of Mind Calibur songs will be more of a opening to the entire concept of what Mind Calibur is and stands for. Songs about the human mind, good vs. evil and the supernatural will be commonplace for most of the soundclick.com site. The first book (album) of Mind Calibur will actually be sort of a scroll and will consist of songs to open up your senses to the Mind Calibur concept. Though it will be a full length production, the book will not contain one full story. But will have many small single track stories and general Mind Calibur lore. The purpose of releasing the soundclick songs and the first book will be to let the humans od earth understand what too expect from Mind Calibur in the future. Which will be exactly this...
Full length concept albums telling stories from different time eras, past, present and future, on earth and other planets.
The stories will be told through the eyes of the characters but will be acted out by the human bodies of Mind Calibur.
Expect epic battles, betreyal, love, hate, lust, loss, gain, and sacrifice as well as some truly mystical wonder from Mind Calibur.
The Time Line
When can you expect the first Mind Calibur song?
The answer is very soon. The first Mind Calibur song, Good and Evil, will be released to the public within one week of January 30th 2007. The song touches on the fact that the human mind is very fragile and must make choices, every day, based on nothing more than the fact that each choice they make is nothing more than the right or wrong choice.
