ESR! (Endshift Resign!) ESR! (Endshift Resign!)

soon to appear in the compilation 'After Shift Jam - The Album'. 'ESR!' is a lament about work in a call center, written in a humourous vein.

Band/artist history
The Chenelins have been around since September 2005, as Try The Extra Espesyal, and have been using this rather peculiar band name since January 3, 2006. Don't matter where we're from, or how we met, but we're four oddballs who work in the night and play rock 'n' roll by day...in the nearest band studio. Gigs are hard to come by, but we're hoping for much more to come...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Got several gigs under our belt, and more to come. It's too early to say which is our best gig, but the only special moment we have is when we get home, about P500 poorer per band member, cuz our gigs don't pay much, and we drink and eat a lot.
Your musical influences
We have a lot of influences, but at the end of the day, it all boils down to the greatest influence of all. DRUGS. Diatabs and Imodium are drugs, aren't they? Seriously, we have several major influences in our now all-original repertoire...'60s British Invasion bands, the '70s Manila Sound, '80s new wave and early-mid '90s alternative...not too much from the present because a lot of today's music, for most Chenelins...is crap. No further comments. PS - Enzo thinks poverty is a great musical influence...he can't help but get into a writing zone when his pay's nearly zeroed out and a lot of bills have to paid.
What equipment do you use?
Ed - metallic green Godin guitar with no effects. Ed, bumili ka naman ng effects. (Ed, buy yourself some effects.) Charles - Yamaha Pacifica with Billy Sheehan's otograp on it. Louie - N/A (go figure. the guy doesn't have his own bass yet because none of us are Team Managers yet!) Enzo - Zildjian 7A drumsticks, nothin' fancy, nothin' signature...
Anything else?
BAND LINEUP: Ed Paguyo - vocals/guitar Charles Castro - guitar/backup vocals Louie Finlac - bass Enzo Tanos - drums Temporarily managed by current/former/whatever drummer Enzo Tanos. FRIENDSTER - THECHENELINSARENTGAY@YAHOO.COM MYSPACE - COMING SOON
