Band/artist history
Carl Ververs has made music since the early '80s. He started out in various bands in his native The Netherlands, but resorted to recording at home because of the adverse music climate. Once in Chicago in 1991, he started recording seriously, but the first album, "Ververs' Verses" didn't see the light until 1997. The advent of MP3 has opened up new opportunities and Carl has started capitalizing on this new trend. To illustrate, "Sound Of Freedom has made it up to #5 on the SoundClick jazz charts.
