A song about finding yourself disillusioned with the world and my solution.
EverAfter is a music project best described as "Original Melodic Philosophical Rock Music."
Influenced by the great progressive classic rock songs of the past, the songs address life's twists and turns, ask questions, and attempt some answers too.
Sometimes it's really "All too much" and music can be a helpful companion when the spirit is troubled by the travails of life.
Old stories ending with "happily everafter" left us with a nice sense of well being.
Maybe the music can convey this idea to those who hear it.Band/artist history
EverAfter was founded in 1996 by Paul Buchignani as an outlet for his original music. To date two CD's ("Staring at the Sky" and "Delusions and Other Tales") have been recorded with another to hopefully be released soon The band played for several years around the Seattle area but presently no shows are scheduled pending conclusion of a 3rd CD.Have you performed in front of an audience?EverAfter opened for national acts Todd Rundgren and Robin Trower in adddition to several live shows involving original music. Playing live is a great experience where we interact with the audience in celebration of the music.
Your musical influences
My songwriting reflects my favorite influences which include Supertramp, Roger Hodgson, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Fogelberg, The Moody Blues to name a few. Also Keane, The Flaming Lips and Travis are some more modern favorites.What equipment do you use?
Roland and Korg keyboards, Carvin guitars, Ludwig Drums, Mackie boards.
