The Way Of Rhyme has been writing electro-funk, hip-hop, acid hip-hop and electronica since 1996 and the band is based near Lansing, MI. The two members are cousins: Mr. Jaqadeliq (Jack Eaton), and DJ2 (Donald Jory, II). Since '96, the Duo have been devoting as much of there time as they can to further develope their music and lyric writing skills.
Band/artist history
What defines a musical group? Other than writing music, what makes any musical group what it is? Staying together is always top on the list, and The Way Of Rhyme will never let go of their artistic endevours. The Way Of Rhyme has been writing tracks since 1996 when Mr. Jaqadeliq and DJ2 (cousins) were both still in high school in the Lansing, MI area. Since then they've been devoting as much of their time as possible to develope their lyric and music writing skills.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
At this moment, we do not play live. But we would seriously consider future gigs.
Your musical influences
Our influences range from all kinds of different genres; some of which include rap, hip-hop, acid hip-hop, house, dance, techno, tech-hop, acoustic, rock, heavy metal, acid-metal, progressive metal, comedy, etc. If we were to list the individual artists or groups, the list would practically go on forever.
What equipment do you use?
All music is written and recorded on a Personal Computer. Lyrics are written with a pen and paper, and then recorded with a Microphone and Personal Computer.
