JDP......J-Dot......JustDat, many different names that represent one meaning...Greatness. The 18 year old artist embodies more talent then most, and has the work ethic to drive it. His birthplace.....the south side of Chicago. Being from the same place as Common Sense, and Kanye West of course only helps supply his ambition. "I have too much talent, me making it is only a matter of time" says the young entrepreneur. At 18 J-Dot already owns his own Production Company, UNTOUCHABLE ENTERTAINMENT. JDP is also one of the major players on Twisted Knowledge Productions, a super group of young chi-town artists. "No one ever said I could do this for real, so they're negativity works as a battery to power my creativity....make sure you write that!!"
What does he sound like? Like Beautiful Music. JDP unlike many in the game can't claim one genre of music. The artist not only an MC, but a vocalist as well. Combining the two to create amazing songs for listeners to experience. Not only that but J also creates his own backdrop, he produces. Another reason why his music sounds so good. Drawing his inspiration from artists like Kanye, and Eminem to create a style all his own. His introspective lyrics combined with a amazing flow make him a sizeable threat in the rap game. "I don't want to play the game for too long because eventually I'm going to buy the board!"Have you performed in front of an audience?Yeah, I've performed all over the city of chicago. I did the chicago apollo when they were doing a Hip Hop showcase. I've performed at Highschools, and talent shows. I performed at the Dusable Museum, and at Columbia College. Once, when the sound man fuck my music up, my crew decided to beatbox, and I kept rapping off of that. The crowd really got into it, its one of my favorite stage moments.
