MY SCREAMING BEAUTY is influenced by the music and lyrics of Alice in Chains. However, I don't like to stick to one certain style. So I kinda throw everything

It's got kind-of an ambient feel to it, I still need to add some synthesizer to all of my material. Especially this song.

Acoustic Rock meets bad relationships...go fig'.
Welcome, this is the supreme domain of MY SCREAMING BEAUTY!!! I am Mannon, the one and only band member. The music is kind-of a cross between many different style's of rock. I'm however heavily influenced by Alice in Chains. Especially former lead singer, Lane Stanley (RIP). I dig the sound of the acoustic so, naturally, the music is all acoustic. I hope you enjoy.
Band/artist history
My Screaming beauty was formed about June of 2005. An old friend of mine began to work with me and we both started talking about our music interests. Well, he proposed that I join his band. So, we started practicing together, that's when I met Ronnie. The intial band was not My Screaming Beauty. My Screaming Beauty was formed by Ronnie and I. Before you knew it, we were living together, practicing every moment we had together. We wrote about 40 songs over a three month period. Friday about a month ago, Ronnie left to New Orleans to help with the Katrina relief, leaving me to kick it solo. I wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors though.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to play live a lot, when I had Ronnie (former guitarist), playing with the band. I haven't played much since he left. We used to play open mic nights at Re-wired here in Dothan, AL a lot. We used to chill and play at Waffle House as well. The most special moment to me is when our manager, Charlie, first listened to us play. The entire rest of the night, he complimented the hell out of us. He said he especially enjoyed my lyrics, which gave me an ultimate boost of confidence.
Your musical influences
Alice in Chains is most certainly my biggest musical influence. I'm a huge fan of the sound that the band generated back in the early through late 1990's. They were most certainly one of the most unique bands of all time. I'm espcially influence lyrically and vocally by Lane Stanely, the lead singer of Alice in Chains. Though they are my heaviest influence though, I do like to keep an open mind. I find my music is influenced by more than one genre or band.
What equipment do you use?
Hahahahaha, I'm cheap!!! I don't have the money for PA or anything like that, so I record on the computer currently. I use Audacity Recording software. I play with my great grandfather's old school Scott Acoustic guitar. It's ancient, but it sounds beautiful for it's age. I'm about to get a Taylor acoustic though (BONG!!!).
