Band members include: John Dill-lead guitar, Roger Hirschkind-rhythm guitar, and Randy Dill-bass guitar. John and Roger alternate lead vocals and Randy sings harmony. We do the classic country songs of artists from the 40's on to today from Ernest Tubb to Johnny Cash. John and Roger have written the bands originals. We are presently looking for someone to promote us in the NC,SC,Tenn area. Give us a holler if you're interested.
Band/artist history
The Cool Creek Ramblers have a heritage steeped in South Jersey 50's Rock 'n Roll, 1980's Southern Rock, and good old honky tonk cry in your beer country music. We have been performing in the Tri state area of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee for over 4 years. Our shows contain songs of Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and many other country legends. We also do our own originals.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Festivals, restaurants, dances, coffee shops, weddings, parties, live radio shows. Live shows are the best. Getting paid on time is always a special moment.
Your musical influences
Ernest Tubb, Hank, Waylon, Merle, Willie, Johnny Cash, and Johnny's former lead guitar picker, Luther Perkins. Any classic country, honky tonk, roadhouse bands.
What equipment do you use?
1970's Gretch White Falcon, Carvin Bolt, Telecaster, and Fender bass. Carvin PA system with Fender monitors, Shure Beta 57A mics.
