Whether you are looking for intimate background music, music to dance to, or the life of the party, the Jason Palmer Group is one of the most versatile, accommodating jazz ensembles in the New England area. This ensemble, which has over five years of performance experience together, is a professional, punctual group of gentlemen residing in the Boston area. We have performed in local venues such as the The Wonderbar, Les Zygomates, Limbo, Scullers Jazz Club, The Reggattabar, as well as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We have also been the house band at the historical Wallys Café for the past four years. Most recently, the Jason Palmer Quintet performed at the Jazz Standard in New York City, Emmanuel Church as a part of First Night Boston, Boston City Hall Plaza as part of the Arts at the Arcade Series, Titus Sparrow Park Summer Concert Series, Highland Jazz Festival, Foxwoods Casino, as well as WGBHs Eric in the Evening hosted by Eric Jackson. Along with perform at local venues, the group has also perform at hundreds of private functions, as we have entertained numerous parties and weddings.
The Jason Palmer Group takes pride in their expansive repertoire which includes hundreds of songs and standards by composers such as Cole Porter, Gershwin, and Rodgers and Hammerstein, as well as contemporary compositions by composers such as Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter.
We perform weekly at Wally's Jazz Cafe in Boston.
