watch out jimmy!!! watch out jimmy!!!
glitchy, grimey, hardcore drum and bass, brings the heat from the moment the track hits. this is loud, aggressive, rock music channeled through electronica. no cute faced bubblegum teeny bobbers warbling techno fluff here. this track KILLS techno.

buried alive buried alive
with lethal guitar work, grinding distortion and glitchy IDM textures, this dark ambient/hardcore piece from Hearses on the Boulevard destroys most conceptions of the word 'instrumental'
"Glitchy, grimey, lovely lush electronic/ IDM audio soundscapes infused with punk rock angst, dark ambient textures, hard rock vocals, + hip hop street credibility... Deathcanwait may do to the laptop what Jimi Hendrix did to the electric guitar." [Deathcanwait Records A&R Director]
"Like the maddened bayings of a an abused child bent on revenge; like the sound of a thousand murdered corpses seeking vengeance; like the twisted love of a scientist for his petri dish, so it is with the lethal injection Latex Pulse brings to the hardcore techno/drum n bass/IDM scene through his work with Alkali Flats Productions."

THE DIY APPROACH:
----------------
As an independent label, there are unique challenges, e.g. capital, that hinder success, but as our name suggests, whatever may come, deathcanwait. Life is beautiful. "I ran form being an artist for about 5 years... chasing pussy, power = politics + "academia", street cred... Some may call this process 'growing'but it was more serious than that. I was really lost. People were pushing me to become who they saw in me, but I was not seeing that person when i looked in the mirror every day."
CURRENTLY, Abraham Isaac is focused on driving the label, producing upwards of 3-5 4/4 drum and bass, IDM, and glitch tracks a day; recording vocals of minimalist rock infused techno; doing the necessary research to learn about the common pitfalls of running a label; conducting interviews with established artists, labelhead, etc. ; networking with DJs; researching software and hardware; writing artists that might be interested in collaborations; preparing press kits, editing electronic press kits; preparing tax documents; communicating with graphic designers necessary corrections to cover designs, etc. Spending anywhere from 10-15 hours a day with all of these matters.
"No one is going to come searching for you. No one is going to get out there and promote you, and if they are, then you are either starting with a LOT of cash, or you are going to be paying out a lot of cash to try to "make it". And most people just don't get that the majority of artists are not living the MTV Cribs lifestyle that they see. So if you want "it", do "it" yourself"!!!! The internet has opened the door to artists developing niche markets that allow them to become label heads and even merchants of others music looong before any of the "major" labels coming knocking with contracts. "
"We want people to think of Deathcanwait Records as the little label that could... Our beginnings are humble... we want to nurture our growth through developing friendships with other musicians, artist, designers. We are honestly not to big on having thousands and thousands of fans... A lot of today's interent "fans" would rather rip an MP3 than purchase your music anyways, so what does that say? FRIENDS on the other hand, they are going to see you as more than a 3:00 minute fix or a buzz word to drop for "scene" points... FRIENDS, they will help you do photo shoots; they will plug you to local venues; the will actually PURCHASE your music; they will give you real criticism and not just the fake back slapping that passes for critical acceptance."
"WE WANT YOUR KIDS. WE WANT THEM TO REJECT YOUR TRUTH"
Currently a student at Lansing Community College, Abraham is also a Senior at Michigan State University, and formerly attended Kalamazoo College as well. His academic background is as diverse as the range of music that he produces. Having studied International Relations; English Pre-Law Studies ; nearly completing an Advertising degree from MSU, and currently enrolled as a Media Technology Student at LCC, his educational background is quite diverse.
DEATHCANWAIT. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
Abraham has performed under contract in Tarifa, Spain where his management team included the lead singer of the Spanish supergroup Mecano; he has traveled to more than a dozen cities in Morocco, and become enchanted with its mountains, its people, it history, its romance and danger. 2006 looks to be the year in which he tours the US and starts developing a stronger network in Canada, where ultimately he sees Toronoto being a future base for the label.
His dreams include re-locating to Toronto, living in Israel, adopting children from Morocco, successfully touring as a DJ/singer/songwriter, running a publishing company, living in accordance with hashem, and dying knowing that his life fed the hungry, clothed the homeless, and was protector of orphans.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Hearses on the Boulevard is primarily a studio project, but the artists comprising it have played together and separately at such storied venues as: The Blind Pig [ Ann Arbor, MI ]; the Machine Shop [ Flint, MI ]; Mac's Bar [ Lansing, MI ], etc.
-------------------------------------------------
We are currently booking shows at very select venues across the US + Canada... We are not your typical touring band on the dive bar circuit. We know exactly what venues we want to play and those are the only spots we are willing to play live. Call us "fucking hipsters", but we don't advise you do it to our face. Because you obvisouly like us enough to come out and see the music!!! Cause we dont leave the lab for nothing but bringing our music to the masses.
