About Choices About Choices

Like the first line says - I was thinking about life's choices - or rather I was thinking about fate and how I'd rather trust God, to me a tangible being, than the coincidences of nature - like the stars in the guidance of my life.

Electronica

It's just me, I'm trying out some things, some noises and stuff. Let me know what you think. (Previously called Zao (uk))
Band/artist history
I've been writing songs for about 5 years now - and I'm still learning how to do it all, but I think I'm getting better. I decided it would be good to get my music out to some people to see what they thought of it. I also play drums in a live Trip-hop/Soul band called Horizon. I'm working on-line in a collaborative effort called Bandwidth choir and will soon be larking about with leftfield jazz-trio, Steve Down and the Swiss Family Robinson. I hope to be starting up a project with my good friend Owen Hayward soon (otherwise known as brokenkings) - check him on www.soundclick.com/brokenkings
Your musical influences
My sound is a bit of 'Halloween, Alaska', 'The Postal Servce' and 'Sigur Ros' - all have been a great influence on me. I'm also a very fond fan off Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright - theirlyric writing astounds me everytime I hear it. And my greatest inspiration is my heavenly Father - greatest songwriter ever.
What equipment do you use?
Mainly I use a crappy 2 PC mic for vocals, Cubase SX3 DAW software and then MIDI instruments as well as acoustic guitar and drums - mainly sampled though (but still played by me)
