The first time performing on stage was in Destin FL. at the Green Knight when Phil Calhoun, a member of the band, told Bruce it was Jam night and would he like to sing? They called him up next set and previously everyone was dancing to the band. Bruce started singing and not one person was dancing and every eye was on Bruce and not one sound from the audience. Naturally Bruce thought they hated him. He couldnt just walk off the stage, so he finished the song and said thank you and began to walk off stage when the audience exploded in applause. Before he could reach his seat Phil Calhoun yelled for Bruce to come back up and sing another one. After that night Bruce was hooked. Phil told him not to worry about just coming back on Jam night, your welcome to come back any night you want to sing Bruce) is currently living in west Florida panhandle. and is signed to the E.L.M. record Label, (Eden Langworthy Music.
