Ever get that feeling that you are alone, but you want to be left alone?

Rock General

How do you get 4orthcoming? You take 4 guys, give 3 of them instruments, and give one some lights, and tell them to write some songs, then play them. Each song that you will hear has feeling behind it, and emotion.
Band/artist history
4orthcoming started as a group of 3, and they were all guitars. None of us knew how to play at all, we just wanted to make music, and didn't ever think that we would get anywhere with it. Originaly the members were Jason Fore on guitar, Eric Krakora on guitar, and Kenny Greenwald on guitar. Brothers Jason and Eric along with their long time friend Kenny would sit in the basement of a house and have long jam sessions just trying to make something that sounded decent, it never happened. Jason had been in a few bands before this but never played guitar, he had played drums, and did vocals in the past, so this was a new venture for him. Eric had never played guitar, but was learning fast, he practiced all the time. Kenny had played on a guitar a bit before this but never in a band. Eventualy Kenyn tuned down his Fender Telecaster so that it would sound somewhat like a bass guitar, and the jam sessions continued. Eventualy Jason went to vocals, Kenny got a real bass and Eric continued to play guitar, but they needed a drummer. This was a problem for a long time for the band. At first they had asked their friend Brandon Blanchard to play drums, this didn't work out. And after that they had gotten Henry and he quit after very little time being with the group. When they had picked up Henry, Kenny had left the band for other ventures, and started playing bass for his friend Anthony's band. Kenny joined back up before they had lost Henry leaving Anthony's project, but Henry left shortly afterwards telling them, "This will never get anywhere." At this point it was Jason on vocals, Eric on guitar, and Kenny on bass....they needed a drummer. They put this problem aside for the time being and continued to practice with what they had. After some time they had Anthony join the group, but it just did not work out schedule wise for practicing, and eventualy he had to quit. It was back to 3. Later down the road Jason decided to take a stab at the guitar, and let Eric take over on vocals and play guitar. This worked out okay, but Jason had decided that he was not the best guitarist, and stepped down from playing the guitar, and moved to the drums. They now had a drummer, but no drum set. They resorted to using a set of chairs. It was embarrasing. After some time they had a few songs ready, but needed the drum kit to actually play them, during the course of this Jason met up with Dean, the owner of an Everett based club that had just opened up. They moved their practice sessions to the club and practice every week. They still needed a drum set, it had been a year and a half without one. The time to buy one was now, they had a show comming up, and needed the set to play it. So they bought a drum kit, and started to play shows at the new club called "The House".
