A multi-instrumentalist composer who has been playing all styles of music varying from Baroque flute to Jazz sax for 35 years. Mozzie has an extensive knowledge in all aspects of performance and now computer orientated is making his own cds. This has culminated in a vast variety of musical styles being covered. In these albums Mozzie has crossed the boundaries of Baroque to Latin, from Reggae to Indian, from Japanese to the Caravans of the east.Modern technology has afforded Mozzie the oppurtunity to display his compositional and performance skills.Your musical influences

I listened to radio pop and underground heavy metal as a teenager(in da gadda of eda baby). Add to that I played with one of Australia's leading Brass bands(whose diversity of styles was humungus. Here I was introduced to the Masters of Classical from early 1700's to 20th century. The Beatles were big for me. They were innovative for their time also dug the Stones, but then who dont.So moving on its now the seventies (always felt like a duck outa water at disco's) Hot Chocolate comes to mind. Blood Sweat and Tears,the pub scene,Skyhooks,Dixieland ,Rock,Barnsie. Can also handle some Acker Bilk and Herb Albert. The late eighties,now let me remember,Billy Joel "dont go changing", well they did.Did big band gigs on sax,loved it.Big change, went pro on sax and managed to have food on the table. Heard my first Bird cd, Trane blew me away with "A love supreme". Went back to school to study for uni entrance (didnt fit in although the on campus bar was a hoot).So studying jazz and classical playing with a hot jazz band at regular gigs. The spectrum of music increases further. The nineties finds me playing most resort centres and adding Latin to my performing skills. I took up flute and discovered the state library has an awesome Baroque repertoire of which i spend a long while studying thru this source i gain a much better understanding and respect for Baroque music. The turn of the century see me composing my own music in a more serious vain. Loving what i have learnt and still enjoying the journey I am on.Now I study, gig and try to stay fed.By the way the good Lord does provide.What equipment do you use?
