The Brotherhood of Blues Band was formed in late 2003 out of local Blues jam session; the founding members regularly jammed on the stage together. Some member changes occurred in the early years, and the band has now solidified into the five dynamic artists today. Featuring Sarah Styles, and her incredible vocal talents, The Brotherhood of Blues Band has played numerous venues all over Arizona including local bars, weddings, parties, huge festival events as well as and charity events. The Brotherhood of Blues Band performs a wide mix of music from 50’s Rockabilly, R&B, Mainstream Blues, Rockin’ Blues, Country and 60’s Classic Rock. Whether a driving instrumental or a ripping vocal tune, The Brotherhood of Blues Band always provides unparalleled entertainment to everyone.

A blues bands entertaining crowds for 8 years, the R&B Soul Brotherhood of Blues Band performs a wide mix of music from 50's Rockabilly, R&B soul, Mainstream Blues, Rockin' Blues, Country and 60's Classic Rock. Whether a driving blues band instrumental or a ripping R&B soul vocal tune, The Brotherhood of Blues Band always provides unparalleled entertainment to everyone. With 3 lead vocals, Sarah, Dan and Bob, the blues band's song list covers a huge range of music and R&B soul artists. Comprised of experienced professional blues band musicians, the band members all contribute to an extraordinary R&B soulful performance. Audiences are constantly amazed at this blues band's diversity, quality, energy, and chemistry. One of Phoenix' favorite blues bands, The Brotherhood of Blues, has performed in engagements including corporate events, private parties, wedding receptions, fundraisers, festivals, outdoor concerts, birthday parties, and more. Sarah Styles - Lead Vocals Sarah brings tremendous vocal range and stage presence to the Brotherhood of Blues. Sarah can charm you with everything from blues, jazzy numbers, to Rock and Country styling. She's pretty easy on the eyes too! Captain Dan - Lead Guitar and Vocals Dan has been playing Guitar since he can remember. Dan is originally from Seattle he has played all the best clubs in the Northwest before moving to Phoenix and discovering the Blues. Dan's main ax is a Gibson Les Paul, but has several sweet guitars. He can be seen wired to a custom made Revolver amp. Dan is our shredder! Randy "Rocket" Ruckman Bass - Base Guitar Randy Ruckman is a veteran of the Phoenix blues scene since 2002. Rock solid rhythms are his specialty. Randy plays Fender Basses, especially, his favorite reissue the Fiesta Red Mustang, through his Fender Bassman amps. Mike "Sticks" Petteys - Drums and Percussion Mike hails from Michigan and has played drums almost his entire life. Mike plays vintage Sonor drums and Paiste Cymbals. He is the one who keeps us all together - don't ask about the duck! Bob Doyen - Rhythm Guitar and Vocals Bob is from Beer and Harley country - Wisconsin! Bob plays his great rhythms and leads through a Vintage Ampeg and Fender gear, adding a dynamic vocal dimension to the Band's sound. Bob is our teacher, always bringing new ideas to us!

Your musical influences
Freddie King, BB King, Peter Green and many others. Some rockabilly Johnny Burnette trio tunes, Carl Perkins, Susan Tedeshi and some originals. We do have an original with a very much Kenny Burrell flavor to it as well. Mostly a blues band, but we're constantly working on being diverse.
