Bajskorv
Angry, loud, left wing, Washington, DC-based noise / industrial band. Distorted drums and analog bass. Experimental... trying to break out of the EBM dead end.

Blood Like Rain Blood Like Rain
Antiwar song... frustration... this song was inspired by several successful counter-military recruitment actions that students in the US had done that we heard about in Spring '05.

Birth of a Nation Birth of a Nation
A song about racism in the US... the D W Griffith Film... foundations of this country, the klan past, hurricane katrina, that which has yet to be overcome.

What Side You On? What Side You On?
Old protest spirtual. Sung by activists and church goers in the civil rights movement. Adapted here with a little more anger... a little more cynicism.

Mental State Mental State
Song that came out of a demoralizing personal period in the writers' life. Heart break up and girlfriend issues. Stress. This here is the instrumental version.

Disconnected Disconnected
Chaotic, minimalist arragements of found soungs, synths, and bells.

Bajskorv is a Washington, DC based experimental/industrial band. It is what you get when you mix a cross dressing hispanic art student and a bolshevik political science major from Georgia. Our music is rough and fast, but has a sense of humor about itself as well. Songs are politically and socially conscious... with lots of distortion to boot!
Band/artist history
Christian has been playing music for a while and used to be in a badass industrial/punk experiment in Altanta called Buried Electric Cable before it turned into a record label. They started playing together in the fall of 2003 after seeing a really bad E.B.M. band play a show at Club Nation and felt that it was a shame "industrial" music sucked so much these days. Hoping to make up for the sorry state of music by naming their band BAJSKORV which means "shit sausage" and accurately describing most "industrial" music that is played by crappy DJs in clubs today. They work very hard and try to be creative, experimental, and very loud wherever they can play live. Listen to thier mp3s and let them know what you think
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play live in DC, Altanta, and Baltimore. Best show was definately at GW during exam week when fog machines set off the fire alarm and had the whole dorm evacuated.
