060507- Korg-ed out all my loops in GB and then exported them into Live. Used Reason to make a few separate beats via ReWire. Really love the baseline and the beats in this track... should have spent longer on the levels - ran out of head-space!

It's started with two discmans, spliced cables, an amp and some old speakers in Switzerland at the age of 12. Dj'ing then progressed into composition. Fruity Loops is still an old favorite, however, now I spend my time using Reason, Recycle, Live and Garage band on my Power Mac when I'm not teaching here in Korea. I still mix it up in Dj-1800 and on my Techniques deck.Have you performed in front of an audience?Deejayed at a club on Kho Pan Nang island in Thailand for about a month. The set up was two discmans and a Mixer so I felt right at home! My best times were had Dj'ing with my accoplice and bro Dj TTM on Washington st. We'd mix and compose till sunrise every weekend.
Your musical influences
Living in Switzerland for 4 years got me hooked on all Electronica, predominately trance and rave. Since then I my musical styles have shifted dramatically to Lo-Fi, Down Tempo, Lounge, Ambient D&B and Hip-Hop. First and fore most DJ TTM, a musical mad man who knows no fear or boarders, and a brother to me, is my biggest inspiration. Even half way across the world we mix it up like we were back at my bachelor pad. Other inspirations include Dj Mark Farina, Kid Koala, Herbalizer, Kevin Yost, Talvin Singh, Theivery Corp, J5,The Roots, Tuna Fish / Chaili 2na, etc...What equipment do you use?
Power Mac, iBook, Stanton Vestax PMC 80, Reason, Live, Recycle, Fruity Loops, Garage Band, Peak, AKG K271's, Mini Disc, iRiver, iPod, Old Techniques Table from a thrift storeAnything else?
