Roller Baby Roller Baby

I asked a friend of mine for a song idea to write about...she said 'how about a girl in a wheelchair?' I thought that would be a bummer of a song, but then I realized, wait, why can't this be a fun song? And so 'Roller Baby' was born.

Fa La La Fa La La

The name of this song could be changed in the future. He he. This is a simple song about someone who wanted to write a song for someone he loved, but could only think of a melody to write instead of words.

The stars are brightly shining... just me and my mandolin here. Happy holidays!

Spark Spark

A new song of mine. Only my voice and two guitars! But they're fast and I like to thrash my little guitar.

Oh you know this song. Corncob pipe and a button nose? You love Frosty, admit it!

Christmas/Seasonal

I'm Andrew Stein, and I love music. So much so, that I learned to play some instruments, like the Mandolin, and the Guitar, as well as a few others. Hopefully, someday, I'll be able to eat some food that was paid for by my music. That's all off in the future, for now. I've been homeschooled my whole life. I've lived everywhere east of the Mississippi (wow, that really is hard to spell!) river in my short life, and I love learning from the road. Part of that freedom I've been given has helped me develop a love for music. Of course, my family has helped, too. Most of the time, when I'm not writing or playing mandolin, I use the computer, play video games, and mess around with art of various forms. I hope to find some way to incorporate music into my career, whatever it may be.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I'll hopefully have my first steady gig this summer at a little beachside eating place, called the Shark Shack. Just me and a guitar and the summer breezes on the beach. Sounds fun! I can't wait for it.
Your musical influences
Nickel Creek, Jason Mraz, Brian Setzer, Beck, Glen Phillips, The Beatles, Wilco, and countless others, I assure you.
What equipment do you use?
Ehehe, if you saw the electronic equipment I use, you'd laugh. ^^ It's all fairly inexpensive stuff, but hey, it works! Right now I play on a Hohner guitar and an Elvenwood Mandolin. It rocks.
