The Great Defiled The Great Defiled
This one is heavy. It's got a 'Matrix' style to it, lots of keyboard work with background guitars and a brutal drum-track.
Overture Overture
A little classical guitar to open the album. Simple but effective.
Treason Treason
Powerful metal thrasher, ideally I would have the guitars much more at the front of the song, but I did the best with what I've got.
L'Être Et Le Néant (part 1) L'Être Et Le Néant (part 1)
Sanctum's longest song so far. A lot of things happening in this one.

Welcome! Check it out:Band/artist history
It all started when I joined my first 'band' really. I'd been playing guitar for about six months and a friend asked me to join, I agreed, but it never got past a few jamming sessions. Since then I've been in and out of various groups, ranging from acoustic-orientated, to death metal, to cover bands... but after a two year hiatus of playing in groups, I began to explore other instruments, and other genres of music, and I feel I've found my place in instrumental, progressive metal.Have you performed in front of an audience?Never played live, primarily because being a lone-wolf (so to speak), it poses a problem to play live, but I would love the opportunity, though.
Your musical influences
Where to start?
Dream Theater, Opeth, Symphony X, Pagan's Mind, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Jag Panzer, Iced Earth, and from time to time - Cradle of Filth, Hypocrisy etc. etc.
I am generally influenced by more progressive branches of the music world, but I can never forget my roots... Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath still remain heavy influences on my work.Anything else?
This is a solo project, I write, play, and record all the elements of each song, unless specified. Oh and by the way... apologies of the quality of the mp3s.

NB: The drums for each track were recorded through an electric drum kit, that is the reason for their 'direct' sound.Contact

HEY..and Shalom from israel i like it Enjoyed all your tunes Excellent music! sincerity, Shimon Afriat
I see your point, Time And Time's intro is -too- flat, but I have to get by with what I have for now... Thanks for posting!
Your music is pretty good - I like the complexity of it. The one thing you may consider changing is the drums - while the timing on the percussion is flawless, I think the computer-generated drums sound a little flat at times.
