November 23, 1985, a star in the making was bred. Kyle Jordan aka Kal-J, a force to be reckoned with in this game of Hip-Hop, first picked up the pen during his sophomore year in high school. "I started rapping in 10th grade because lots of my friends were rapping I thought I would give it a try", says Kal. Kal-J, then seen a complete halt in his new hobby, after writing only one verse. "I wrote like one verse and really wasnt feeling it, so I just stopped for about 3 years". While, rapping himself was no longer on his mind, he starting to become inspired by some of his favorite artists. "I'm a big Eminem fan. He's my favorite rap artist, so he definately inspired me". But thats not what caused the storm. "Breathe, by Fabolous is what made me start rapping again. Once, I heard it, I thought it was so tight, I wanted people to feel that way about my music". Shortly after picking up the pen again, he sat it back down But then one day, he knew that making music was what he was put on this earth for. "Jim Jones, Capo Status. Eminem is my favorite artist, but Jim Jones is my biggest music inspiration." One trip to the record store changed his life forever. Once I bought, "On My Way To Church" it was over. Thats when I started rapping seriously. I was really feeling that cd, and I wanted everybody to feel that way about me." Now, he is going full force and doesn't plan on stopping until he has the game on lock. "I want to be remembered as a great, not just an average rapper. I want to be known as a great MC" Only time will tell

just CHECKIN My Ambitions. thx for taking the time to listen to my STUFF. I like the passion you put into your rapping. It seems like the beat isn't too well mixed though the BASS seems to be overpowering everything else! Remix that and it will be set. AND listen to some Chino XL or Pharoahe Monch or something to make ur lyrics a little more complex.
