C I Double a.k.a. THE DOE BOY was born on October 12, 1985 in Chicago IL, at Ingalls Memorial Hospital. At about 8 years old he began to live his biggest dream which was to sing and be the most God gifted voice in his family. He started to lose interest in singing by the age of 13 and developed an interest for rap. It was always told to him that the talent was always there, he just needed the right influence to bring it out of him. By the time he defined his skills and practiced on his talent, he started to become the best of the best. He is a very smart and ambitious man and with all of his time and energy into his music, he started to put his intelligence into his lyrics. C I Double is a very unique person in everyway. He has begun to perform on stage at small clubs like, The Whats Up Lounge, Douglas Park, Apollo in da Hood, etc. all around Chicago. His style is very different from other rappers. He uses his intelligence and life knowledge to execute vast words and phrases that becomes overwhelming to the mic. His stage name is from a vision to overcome any challenge. C is for the first initial of his real name which is Cordell, I is for his swift intelligence because that is his key power in dominating any obstacle by using his knowledge, DOUBLE is because his lyrics are so astonishing that he gives the illusion that it takes two people just to think and come up with the words that comes forth from his mind. C I Double has been with a label known as M-80 Records but the project producers and founder did not take advantage of the opportunity. A well-known friend of C I Doubles created M-80 Records by the name of Victor Stewart who left and let the label destroy itself. One group that C I Double was apart of was called Broken English which held three other members by the names of, Black Renegade, Haitian Poltergeist, and Dizzy G. Unfortunately, things didnt work out as planned and power corruption dismantled the group. Now apart of a group under the label Ghost Kamp which consists of, C I Double, Hatian Poltergeist(now known as Locksmith), Dizzy G.(now originally known as Blacksmith), and Wild-Chilla. So far things are held up in a successful matter in Ghost Kamp Ent. C I Doubles vision is to have success with music and be able to help out the struggles within his life that it took for him to become a better, stronger, smarter, human being.Have you performed in front of an audience?yes.
