Many influences are noted, yet RMR has a rather uniqie sound. The major influence on Jon's writing is Deep Purple and Rainbow (specifically, and combination of Ritchie Blackmore and Joe Lynn Turner). Other influences, as noted above, are Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Creed, and other 80s, 90s, and current guitar oriented rock.
