This song just got started. I have guitar ideas, orchestral ideas, and some unique vocal ideas and I'm going to slowly unfold them here on SoundClick. I just started with piano and will add more this coming weekend.

Death/Black Metal

Abandon Grace is a new incarnation of Detachment. We were, at one time, a pure death-metal band and have since become quite experimental in genre. We're hoping to eventually obliterate any genre barriers and create something entirely new, not even based off of metal. Currently posted in our music section are our old Detachment songs from the album "Suspended in Stone". Enjoy what you will, appreciate the talent, but don't expect our next efforts to go this particular direction.
Band/artist history
Too long to post here now. We were originally formed 8 years ago...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We used to, and often. We won't for quite some time now, though. Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Clinton... all in Iowa. The Canton Rock fest was momentous in that we played for a crowd of over 2000. It was a wonderful experience.
Your musical influences
All and none. We're hoping that no true influence shines through our music in itself. However, we've enjoyed many artists and groups from many genres. From Mozart to Morbid Angel to Prince to Madonna to Pat Metheney to Little Texas to Enya to... you get the point.
What equipment do you use?
That's quite classified at this point. We really don't want to start slaughtering people if we told...
Anything else?
Thrash! Listen and enjoy! And Inquire!
